Maroubra Beachside Foraging Tour
Where | Meet at Pavilion Beach Front, Maroubra
When | Saturday 21st March 10am-12pm
Curious to discover more about the wild plants that grow near you? From the history to the culinary uses, join me as I lead you on a two hour tour along Maroubra’s coastline sharing my knowledge on the ingredients I’ve foraged for menu’s at the Chefs Table, Maybe Sammy, Yellow Sydney and many pop ups around Australia.
You’ll learn how to identify and prepare these ingredients like many cultures including my grandparents did when cooking for their families.
Pack your joggers and swimmers, this will be an interactive tour that will take you off the beaten path and into the world of wild food foraging.
If you’re interested in environmental based activities, you should watch a short film I’m also debuting at Bondi Pavilion Theatre the following day on Sunday the 22nd of March 1pm. Email me for tickets!
