Directed and produced by film maker Liam Allen - Awakened explores our human connection with the ecosystem and our role within in. It addresses important questions as we continue to discover more symbiotic systems to create a sustainable future.
Awakened discusses these themes through the ancestral skills of foraging and stories of people directly connected with nature. For example, Elijah Attard - a chef and forager has seen first hand the dramatic effects of how micro-climate changes can instantly alter his menus, making an important step toward more positive conscious decisions.
Awakened features perspectives of those involved in Sea Shephard along with ocean conservationists and scientists that come together to open our eyes, and educate us in this beautifully shot cinematic short film.
