Bar Teresa Pop Up

Napier, New Zealand

New Zealand got one of its first tastes of Native Australian ingredients during a 4 course + 4 cocktail pairing set menu. And what a night it was!

On Monday the 4th of November, I collaborated with Andrea Marseglia of Bar Teresa in New Zealand to host a 4 course vegan degustation highlighting locally foraged botanicals and native Australian ingredients to the incredibly curious locals. We hosted this in Napier, which is New Zealands wine region boasting incredible exports and top tier wine brands from a humbling and beautiful location.

From Bush Tomato, Wattleseed, Cinnamon Myrtle, Strawberry Gum and more, I showcased these incredible flavors that represent to the rest of the world what truly makes the Australian food landscape so special.

The support was incredible and I’m very lucky to have ‘Lets Go Vegan’ and ‘Chefworks Australia’ sponsor the Bar Teresa Takeover.
